The label style will include the following elements at 1:50:

Name
Function
TL of finished floor (= +0.15)
TL of unfinished floor
Base area
Perimeter
Covering (Text1)
Type of covering (Text2)

The following is required for a scale of 1:100:

Name

The basic approach is the same as in Label style with floor area and Label style for balcony.

You will use a formula to calculate the TL FF (top level of finished floor). Draw the symbols using Line and Fill. You should already be familiar with the concept of foils from the Smart Symbols task area.

When you label a room with this label style, you will obtain the following results…

To create a label style with two foils

1. Click Label Style (How).
   

   Activate Label Style in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task User-Defined Objects Task area Label Styles

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools Smart Symbols

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Templates: Reports, Legends, Labels

   Smart Symbols

   Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

   Landscaping

   Urban Planning

   Attributes

2. To place the attributes for the first foil (up to 1:50) in the workspace, start by setting the Reference Scale to 1:50.
3. Now place the following attributes with the appropriate settings in the workspace:
   • Select Name in the Architecture - General group; set the text height to 2.5 mm and the text anchor point to bottom left.
   • Select Function in the Architecture - General group; set the text height to 3.5mm and the text anchor point to bottom left.
   • For TL FF, click Formula, click Attribute, click Architecture - Quantities and select Bottom_Level. In the Operators area, click / (for division) and enter 1000 in the Numbers area (the values in formulas are always calculated in mm!). In the Operators area, click + and in the Number area, enter 0.15 (fixed value for the structure of the floor covering).
     The formula should now look like this:
     BL/1000+0.15
     Confirm the dialog box. Enter 3.5 mm for the text height. Enter TL FF for the Prefix and set the text anchor point to bottom left.
     Tip: For TL FF, use the values of the floor covering you defined for the room on the ‘Finish’ tab.
   • For TL UF, click Formula, click Attribute, click Architecture - Quantities and select Bottom_Level. In the Operators area, click / (for division) and enter 1000 in the Numbers area.
     The formula should now look like this:
     BL/1000
     Confirm the dialog box. Enter 3.5 mm for the text height, set the text anchor point to bottom left and enter TL UF for the Prefix.
   • Select Base_area in the Architecture - Quantities group; set the text height to 2.5 mm and the text anchor point to bottom left; enter A= for Prefix.
   • Select Perimeter in the Architecture - Quantities group; set the text height to 2.5 mm and the text anchor point to bottom left; enter P= for Prefix.
   • Select Text1 in the Architecture - General group for displaying the floor covering; set the text height to 2.5 mm and the text anchor point to bottom left (the floor covering must be entered in Text1 when you define the room).
   • Select Text2 in the Architecture - General group for displaying the covering type; set the text height to 2.5 mm and the text anchor point to bottom left (the covering type must be entered in Text2 when you define the room).

     Draw the triangle symbols with Line (How) and Fill (How) and place them in the label style. You can now move and align the elements.
     
     The result might look like this:

     

     Activate Fill in one of the following ways

     • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Design Task area 2D Areas

     • Menu bar: Create Draft

     • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

     Draft

     Paint

     

     Activate Line in one of the following ways

     • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Design Task area 2D Objects

     • Menu bar: Create Draft

     • Keyboard: CTRL+L

     • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

     Draft

     Site Plan

     

4. To place the attributes for the second foil of the label style in the drawing file, set the Reference Scale to 1:100. Don’t worry about “incorrect” text offsets. Allplan will set the appropriate scale when you save the label style.
5. Now place the following attributes with the appropriate settings in the workspace:
   • Select Name in the Architecture - General group; set the text height to 2.5 mm and the text anchor point to bottom left.
   • Select Function in the Architecture - General group; set the text height to 3.5mm and the text anchor point to bottom left.
   • Select Base_area in the Architecture - Quantities group; set the text height to 2.5 mm and the text anchor point to bottom left; enter A= for Prefix.
6. If you want, you can now enhance the appearance by switching to other task areas, aligning the various elements and drawing a border, for example.

7. To save the label style, set the reference scale back to 1:50.
8. Click Label Style (How). Click DefFol.
9. Switch on Foil. Specify that the foil is to change with the reference scale by selecting Depends on RSC and set the validity range for the first foil:
   RSC->: 1
   <=RSC: 51

   Note: The reference scale at which the label style is usually displayed should always be within the validity range defined by the upper and lower limits.

10. Select the elements for the first foil and define the drop-in point.
11. Now set the reference scale to 1:100.
12. Click Foil and set the validity range for the second foil:
    RSC->: 52
    <=RSC: 9999
13. Now select the elements for the second foil and define the drop-in point.
14. Press ESC to finish.
15. Specify whether the individual foils of the label style can be selected and moved independently of each other.
16. Save the label style.
