Copy Image

Task area As-completed Drawings

You can use this tool to copy scanned image files in the project folder.

To copy a scanned image to a new or existing file

1. Click Copy Image (How).
   

   Activate Copy Image in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Design Task area As-completed Drawings

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. Select the file to be copied and click Open.
3. Enter the name of the target file and click Save.

Note: This tool copies scanned image files in the project folder. To copy a scanned image file between different projects or folders, use the import and export options in Link with Scanned Image.

Note: The Copy File tool only copies the references to the image and not the scanned image itself.
