Label

Task area Layout Editor

You can use this tool to label a layout. Allplan creates the label as a label style. Consequently, the label will update automatically when you open the Layout Editor task, switch to another layout or print the layout.

Note: The program comes with numerous title blocks, lists for drawing files placed and layouts. You can modify these or create new ones using Label Style. Please read the Notes on label styles in layouts.

To label a layout

  1. Click Label (How).
  2. Click a layout border.
  3. To select a different label, click the Label Style box on the context toolbar.
  4. Select the folder. The Default folder contains the title blocks that come with the program. The Office folder contains custom title blocks that you saved to subfolder 7 or 8.
  5. Select a label style.
  6. Click OK to confirm.
  7. Place the label style in the layout. You can use the tools in the input options to do this.

Note: Using the Set Up Page tool, you can select a layout border and a label as fixed properties of the page. The layout border matches the size of the page. For the label, you can specify the distance from the layout border. When you change the page, the size of the layout border and the position of the label adapt automatically.
