Facade (How).The Facade Context toolbar opens.
The linear facade type is selected by default. In other words, you can immediately start to enter a new facade by clicking points.
Tip: You can use
Retrieve facade favorites to select and load facade types (*.rds files) saved as favorites.
- Click
Scheme settings. - Select the scheme you want to use and confirm the dialog box.
Or
- Click
Subdivision settings. - Specify the division style by entering a new value for Subdivision or Offset.
Or
Click
Reset to use the default values.
- Click
Object definitions. - Select a facade style (see Loading facade objects) and click OK to close,

Match facade style to use the style of an existing facade.
Tip: Press ALT+V to show and hide the subdivision. This way you can enter points quickly. Otherwise, navigation with the mouse may be slow as refreshing the preview takes some time.
- Draw the facade by clicking the points of the path. Check the facade's axis position, which you can
reverse.When entering the points of the path, keep the height of the facade in mind:
- A facade entered in plan is at the height of the lower default reference plane set for the document.
- If you want to take the height of the facade from an existing component (for example, a floor slab or slab), enter the points of the path in isometric view. This way, you define the Z-coordinates of the points clicked.
- If you click an incorrect point, select
Back. This deletes the point you entered last. - To start a new curve, click
Finish curve. This completes the current curve with the properties displayed.Note: You can change the Curve type and Height or Angle at any time until you click
.
- Press ESC to finish.
