Creating and modifying composite elements

You can use this tool to explode a composite element into discrete elements. Parallel lines, labels and stationing are deleted in the process.

To explode a composite element

1. Click Explode Composite Element (How).
   

   Activate Explode Composite Element in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Change task area

   • Menu bar: Change Advanced Draft

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Advanced Draft

   Site Plan

2. Click the composite element.
