Add, Change Pattern Line

Task area 2D Objects

You can use this tool to apply a pattern line to individual lines, polylines or composite elements. The pattern line’s pen and color are adopted from the element. You can also modify existing pattern lines.

To apply an additional pattern line to existing elements

1. Click Add, Change Pattern Line (How).
   

   Activate Add, Change Pattern Line in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Design Task area 2D Objects

   • Menu bar: Create Advanced Draft

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Advanced Draft

2. Click New in the input options.
3. Click the composite element, individual element or polyline.
4. For composite elements, specify from which element and to which element the pattern line is to stretch. Right-click to select the entire composite element.
5. Set the parameters of the pattern line.

To modify existing pattern lines

1. Click Add, Change Pattern Line (How).
2. Click Modify in the input options.
3. Click the pattern line.
4. Set the parameters of the pattern line.

Note: Off converts a pattern line back to the original element.
