Export Rhino Data

Task area Export

You can use this tool to export 3D elements to *.3dm format (version 4).

The following properties will be transferred:

• Element color
• Line type
• Pen thickness
• Material (name of surface file in *. surf format) with color of object, luster / smoothness and transparency; the texture file is not exported.
• Layer with color of layer

To export Rhino data

1. Select all documents with the 3D elements you want to transfer
2. Click Export Rhino Data (How).
   

   Activate Export Rhino Data in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Teamwork Task area Export

   • Menu bar: File Export
   • Shortcut menu: Navigation Mode selected - Right mouse button - Export 3D Data

   • Title bar: Allplan icon Export
3. Specify a file name and a path and click Save.

   The elements are converted automatically.
