Task area 2D Areas

You can use this tool to apply a pattern to an area.

To apply a pattern

1. Click Pattern (How).
   

   Activate Pattern in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Design Task area 2D Areas

   • Menu bar: Create Draft

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Draft

2. If you want, you can now modify the pattern's parameters.
   The context toolbar provides several options.
   

   • Click Properties to set the parameters in a dialog box.
   • Click Match Properties to copy the settings from a pattern that you already applied.
   • Click the number of a pattern to select it.
3. Enter the area where the pattern is to be applied as you would a normal polyline.
