Insert linked OLE objects

To insert a linked OLE object

1. Click Edit on the Quick Access Toolbar and select Object... (How).
   

   Activate Object in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Insert

   • Title bar: Quick Access Toolbar Edit
2. Select the Create from file and Link options.

   Note: You cannot link new OLE objects.

3. Select the file you want to insert as an OLE object and click OK.
4. Place the elements in the workspace. There are additional tools available in the input options to assist you.
