Panning

View, perspective and scale

Note: Panning does not move the coordinates in any way, but merely the display of the design.

To pan in the current window

• Use the arrow keys on the keyboard. The arrow keys pan the section that is visible on screen by a tenth of the entire screen. Pressing and holding down the CTRL+ALT keys at the same time pans the section by a quarter.

  Note: This is not possible when the system expects you to enter a value in the dialog line.

• Click and drag with the middle mouse button.
• Click Pan (How) and enter a vector by placing the start and end points.
  

  Activate Pan in one of the following ways

  • Menu bar: View

  • Keyboard: F7
