Layers available in office (project)

Lists the layers that are currently available in the office standard or in the project. The other columns display the line styles assigned to the layers and the format properties of the layers.

List layers used in open documents

Displays only the layers in the current drawing file and in drawing files open in edit mode. If all layers are on the default layer, this option is not available.

List entire layer hierarchy

Lists all the layers.

Format properties from layer

You can specify whether and how new elements automatically assume the format properties of the layer on which they are drawn. Switch to the Select Layer/Visibility tab and specify which of the three format properties (pen, line and color) you want to take from the layer. You can find more information in Matching format properties of layers.

Assign format properties

You can assign format properties to the selected layers. Select the Assign, use line style check box to define the format properties by assigning a line style.

You can define or modify line styles, area styles and drawing types.
