"Select drawing file" dialog box

Palette(s): Generate View / Modify View + Generate Section / Modify Section

You can select one or more drawing files in this dialog box. You can arrange the drawing files by fileset structure or by building structure. You can select a drawing file by entering its number or name at the keyboard. Allplan selects the first drawing file that matches the entry you make. F3 takes you to the next drawing file that matches the criteria specified.

When you select a superordinate node, Allplan automatically selects all drawing files under this node.

This parameter is only visible if the Show fileset structure option is active in the Settings of the Open on a project-specific basis: drawing files from fileset/building structure dialog box.

Building structure

Sorts and displays drawing files by building structure.

Derived from building structure

Sorts and displays drawing files by object derived from the building structure (e.g. sections). This setting is not yet available.
