Using the Subtract and Retain Solid and
Subtract and Remove Solid tools in the Boolean Operators task area, you can now subtract several 3D solids or 3D surfaces from a 3D solid or 3D surface in a single operation. In earlier versions, you could only subtract a single solid or surface.

(A) Solid to be subtracted
(B) Solids selected together; the first solid will be subtracted from these solids
If the intersecting solid(s) split(s) the solid to be changed into discrete parts, you can decide whether you want to resolve the split solid into separate 3D solids.
3D surfaces always split the solid; so there is no message.
