"Layout Border" palette

You can use the Layout Border palette to define the type and the format properties (pen, line, color) of the layout border.

Border type

You can specify the border type. Allplan creates foldmarks in accordance with the border type you select.

The following border types are available:

• Single margin DIN 824 C
• Double margin DIN 824 B
• Filing margin (DIN 824 A)
• Double margin (A6240-1/6.1; Austria)
• Filing margin (A6240-1/6.2; Austria)
• Filing margin (Bavarian Building Code)

When you change the settings in the Border definition area, [User-defined type] is entered for the name of the type. If you have logged in as the administrator or as a user with administrator privileges, you can replace this entry with a name and thus define new display parameters for layout borders.

Border pen and line type

Outside / Inside / Miscellaneous

This setting defines the pen, line type and color (when the Color stands for pen option is off) used for the outer border, the inner border and other lines (foldmarks and text). Clear the check boxes of the elements you do not want to display.

Note: The text font is based on the current setting in the Text task area.
