Defining, modifying custom attributes

To define or modify a new custom attribute

• The Attribute Selection dialog box is open.

1. Select the User attribute group.
2. To define a new custom attribute, click .
   To modify a custom attribute, select it and click .
3. Enter parameters for the custom attribute:
   • Attribute name
   • Type
     The following options are available: Text, Real number, Integer or Date.
   • Input type
     The following options are available: Entry, Combo box, List box without entries, List box with hatching selection, List box with pattern selection, List box with fill selection or check box.
   • Text length
     Number of letters and blanks.
   • Unit
     Only available with Real number and Integer.
   • Default value
     Depends on the selected Type.
   • 
     Only available for Combo box and List box without entries.
     You can enter default values in a custom dialog box, which expands with each new value that you enter. You can then select one of these values when you assign attributes.
     When set to Combo box, you can also enter custom values.
   • Minimum / maximum value
   • Input method (Trade, Layer Selection, Material, Dropdown, Text)
4. Confirm your entries.
