Phase 3 - BIM manager or specialist planners suggest corrections to property values (on Bimplus)

On Bimplus: The BIM manager or specialist planners check and correct the model.

Specialist planners change property values, such as the date. To do this, they must have the required privileges.

Note: Only the BIM Manager can change properties in property sets.

To correct property values in BIM Explorer - important steps

1. Open the model on Bimplus.
2. Select a component: You can see its properties on the right.
3. Check the properties and correct the values.

Alternative: To correct property values using the Excel Bimplus plug-in - important steps

• The Excel Bimplus plug-in is installed (can be purchased via the Allplan Shop). The Bimplus plug-in requires Excel 2013 or later.

1. Start Excel.
2. Open a blank workbook and the Bimplus tab.
3. Log in to Bimplus and select the project by double-clicking it.

   

4. Use Import Objects to import components with their properties to Excel.

   

   Each component gets a row; each property gets a column.

5. Start BIM Explorer from the plug-in to select a component belonging to a row in the model.
6. Correct properties in Excel.
7. Use Save Current Worksheet to save the data on Bimplus.

  Activate Import Attribute Values from Bimplus in one of the following ways

  • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Teamwork Task area Bimplus

  • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools Attributes

  All those involved can see the differences and discuss this with the other project participants.
