Phase 1 - BIM manager adjusts property sets (on Bimplus)

The BIM manager uses Bimplus. The BIM manager must be the administrator or a user with administrator privileges.

The BIM manager assembles a binding property set template including various property sets in accordance with the client’s requirements. In doing so, the BIM manager implements the ‘Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR)’.

The BIM manager commits all planners involved in the project to using the property sets of the property set template.

For example: The BIM manager edits the property set template and property sets using Property Manager on Bimplus.

Using the Project properties, the BIM manager defines which property set template will be used.

To define or adjust a property set template - important steps

1. Open Property Manager (near the bottom on the left sidebar).
2. Select or copy a property set template (list box at top left).
3. Object (left column): Adjust Element / Building / Wall:
   • Create, rename or delete sets.
   • Remove properties from the property set using .
   • Add properties you take from the property library (right column):
     Insert existing properties using .
     Create new properties in the Team database and add them to the property set.
4. Open the main page of Bimplus by clicking the Bimplus icon:
   • Add a Bimplus project or select an existing project.
   • Go to the Project properties and select the property set template you just created (see steps 2 and 3).
