Place in polygon

To place bars polygonally
- Click
Special Placements (How). - Select the mark you want to place by clicking a reinforcing bar or a bar placement. Alternatively, enter the mark number in the dialog line.
- Set the placing mode to
Place in Polygon and click OK to confirm. - If Reinforce with 3D model is not active, you need to define the view of the bending shape relative to the placing polygon. In order to define the line representing the viewing direction, you can find a number of in the input options.
- Click the first and second point of the clipping line (all bar segments intersected by this line have variable dimensions).
- Click the corners of the placement polygon.
- Specify the direction for the benching value and enter a value.
- Define the view if Reinforce with 3D model is active and there are no views. If the placement is not within a view, select an existing view.
Note: If there are no suitable views, you cannot create the placement.
- Specify the mark's for the placement.
- Set the parameters presented and click OK to confirm the settings.
- Select the placing parameters.
Note: In this placing mode, you cannot switch between series and custom placement. The defined placement region cannot be modified.
- Click OK to confirm the settings. Allplan creates the placement.
- Select the dimension line type in the list box at the top of the palette, specify the dimension line parameters for the Dimension line type or the text parameters and format properties of the for the Mark symbols type, define the in the input options and place the dimension line or the mark number.

Skip dimensioning by pressing ESC. - Select the Automatic mark number option in the input options if the program is to create the mark number at the beginning or end of the label depending on the drop-in point specified. In addition, define the
Anchor point of the label. - Specify the label parameters, place the placement label (you can define the text angle in advance) and create the leader manually, if necessary.

Skip labeling by pressing ESC. - When you have configured Allplan to create a layer symbol (
Options, Reinforcement - Label page) and you have not yet placed this symbol along with the label, you can now select a Layer symbol in Leader area of the palette and click the drop-in point or a bar segment.
