Retrieving spots placed for a task

Managing tasks using the Task Board

To retrieve the spots placed for a task

• You logged in to Bimplus via Allplan (see "Using Allplan to log in to Bimplus").
• The open Allplan project is linked with a Bimplus project (see "Linking an Allplan project with a Bimplus project").
• You have appropriate rights in Bimplus.
  

  Access rights in Bimplus are controlled by the roles of the members. Using the BIMPLUS web portal, the BIM coordinator responsible for the Bimplus project usually defines the member roles, that is to say, the rights of each member.

  The following roles are available:

  • Project viewer:
    A project viewer can view models, documents and tasks and download documents.
  • Project editor:
    A project editor has the same rights as a project viewer. In addition, a project editor can upload and create models, create revisions, upload documents, edit project details and create, edit and delete tasks.
  • Project administrator:
    A project administrator has the same rights as a project editor. In addition, a project administrator can download and delete models, delete documents, invite members and assign member roles.
  • Team owner:
    A team owner has the same rights as a project administrator. In addition, a team owner can create and delete projects.

1. Select the Task Board palette (see "Displaying the Task Board palette").

   The Tasks area displays the list of tasks created for the linked Bimplus project. This list updates automatically to reflect the current status on Bimplus.

2. Click within the right column of the task whose spots you want to retrieve. As an alternative, you can also double-click the task.

   The Details palette opens.

3. Click Spots.

   You can see the list of spots placed for the task in the model using the BIMPLUS web portal.

4. Click an entry in the list to set the focus on this spot in the view of the model displayed in the current viewport.
