Deleting or moving control points of 2D splines and 2D polylines

Tool(s): Polyline + Spline

Splines and polylines are connected elements whose individual components cannot be selected separately. Therefore, you cannot simply delete the control points or corners; instead, you move them to the nearest point.

To remove control points of splines and polylines

• No tool is activated.

1. Click the spline or polyline.

   Or

   Right-click the spline or polyline and select Properties on the shortcut menu.

   Allplan selects the spline or polyline, displaying handles at the control points or corners.

   Tip: You can also use Model Spline for splines and Stretch Entities for polylines.

2. Point to a point near the one you want to remove and wait until the cursor changes to . Then click the point.

   

3. Drag the point to the nearest control point or corner. As soon as the point is snapped, click it. Check the CursorTips.

   

   Allplan removes the control point or corner, drawing the spline or polyline again.
