Wall

Module(s): Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

You can use the Wall tool to draw walls with single or multiple construction layers.

To draw walls

1. Click Wall (How).
   

   Activate Wall in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Architecture Task Elements Task area Components

   • Menu bar: Create Architecture Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

   • Keyboard: CTRL+W

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

2. If you want, you can now modify the wall's parameters.
   Use one of the following options provided on the Context toolbar.
   

   • Click Properties to set the parameters in a dialog box.
   • Click Match properties to copy the settings from an existing element.
   • Click Load favorite to select saved parameter combinations.
3. On the Wall Context toolbar, select a wall type:
   • Straight Component
   • Rectangular Component
   • Curved Component
   • Circular Component
   • Polygonal Component (Inscribed)
   • Polygonal Component (Circumscribed)
   • Entity-Based Component
   • Spline-Based Component
