Filter by element type or property

Using filters

Before you select elements by clicking them or opening a selection rectangle, you can set one or more filters. Allplan only selects the elements that match the filter criteria you defined.

To filter by element type or property

1. After you have selected a tool for modifying elements (for example, move), click one of the filter types on the Actionbar - Filter task area or on the Filter Assistant toolbar:
2. Select the property by which you want to filter.
   Depending on the filter criterion, you can use to match an element's properties by clicking and specify whether the criterion has to be fulfilled (=) or not (<>).
3. Select the elements by clicking them or by enclosing them in a selection rectangle.

   Allplan only selects the elements that match all filter criteria you defined.
