Using filters

You can use all or specific properties of an element as filter criteria.

To use the properties of an element as filter criteria

After you have selected a tool for modifying elements (for example, move), click Match Filter Condition (How).

Activate Match Filter Condition in one of the following ways

• Actionbar:Task area Filter

• Toolbar: Filter Assistant

1. A dialog box opens. Select the properties you want to match from the element.
2. Click OK to confirm.
3. Click the element whose properties you want to use as filter criteria.
