Area reinforcement: secondary reinforcement

To place secondary reinforcement along a line as area reinforcement
- Click
Enter Area Reinforcement (How). On the context toolbar, select
Secondary Reinforcement
Or
On the Engineering
toolbar, Area Reinforcement flyout, select
Secondary Reinforcement. - If you work in Reinforce with 3D model mode, you need to select an existing view to which you want to add secondary reinforcement.
Note: If there are no views, you cannot create secondary reinforcement.
- Define the location of the placement in space so as to establish the relationship (distance) between the defined spatial plane and the placement (with Reinforce with 3D model only).
- Click OK to confirm the settings.
- Go to the input options and select the type for defining secondary reinforcing bars. Three options are provided:
- Match Bar to match the diameter, number, length and spacing of an existing placement.
- Edge to use the length and direction of a edge for the generation of the bars. The edge length is proposed as the length.
- From-to to define custom secondary bars by setting a start and end point.
- Define the location of the secondary reinforcing bars and the placing direction.
- Enter settings for the general placing parameters.
- Click OK to confirm the settings.
