You can use this tool to compress the files in the external path and write them to any folder.

To back up data from '...\Users\Windows_user_name\Documents\Nemetschek\Allplan\2016\Extern'

1. Open the Services application, select the File menu and click Back up data from '...\Users\Windows_user_name\Documents\Nemetschek\Allplan\2016\Extern‘.
2. Follow the instructions displayed on screen.
