Exchanging data with Allplan Editions

You can use the Import NDW files tool in ProjectPilot to import an NDW file of any version to a drawing file.

You can save documents of the current Allplan version as custom NDW files by selecting the Save As... tool on the File menu in Allplan 2015.

You can also use the Save Copy As... tool on the File menu in Allplan 2015 to save individual drawing files as NDW files for use with Allplan Edition 2009 and for working with documents in versions 2011, 2012 and 2013. The data of the current drawing file is copied and saved as an NDW file in the folder you specify. The name of the drawing file/document is proposed as the file name.

You can choose from the following data formats:

• NDW file (*.ndw) (for Allplan 2015)
• NDW file (*.ndw), Version 2012
• NDW file (*.ndw), Version 2011
• NDW file (*.ndw), Version 2009

Note: You cannot exchange data of the .npl format (Nemetschek PLan).
