Shortcut menu for selecting elements

Depending on the setting in the Options, Desktop environment - Mouse and crosshairs, you can open the shortcut menu for selecting elements using the right mouse button or CTRL+right mouse button. It contains the tools which you can also find on the Filter Assistant toolbar.

Add up elements (edit tools only)

You can use this tool to select several elements by clicking them in succession (cf. Bracket feature for selecting elements).

Apply

The selected tool or the modified parameters is/are applied to the elements selected beforehand using Add up elements.

Reselect / Undo

Fence on/off

Select all (Ctrl+A)

Selects all the elements in the current drawing file and in files open in edit mode (including elements that are not visible such as default reference planes). See also Behavior of default planes when copying or moving elements between documents.

Select same pen

Selects all the elements that were drawn with the same pen as the element for which you opened the selection shortcut menu.

Select same line

Selects all the elements that were drawn with the same line as the element for which you opened the selection shortcut menu.

Select group (Shift+click)

Selects all the elements that belong to the same entity group as the element for which you opened the selection shortcut menu.

Select elements fully bounded and intersected

Select elements in a direction-dependent manner
