Adding drawing files and layouts with resources to a project

You can use this tool to import files, which you have exported using Export Loaded Drawing Files / Layouts with Resources, to the current project.

Important: this operation will overwrite any existing drawing files and/or layouts in the project. If you have inadvertently overwritten files, you can fall back on BAK files, which are created automatically by the program. To be on the safe side, you should import the files into a new, empty project.

To import drawing files and layouts with resources to the current project

1. Point to Import on the File menu and click Add Drawing Files and Layouts with Resources to Project.
2. Select the ZIP file you want to import and click OK.

   Tip: When you move the cursor onto the ZIP file, the ToolTip shows its contents.

3. Select the documents you want to import and click OK.
4. Click Yes when you see the confirmation prompt.

   The files that are replaced and/or added are displayed in the dialog box.
