Angle Bisector between 3D Lines

You can use the Angle Bisector tool to draw an angle bisector between 3D lines. The lines must have a point in common; lines that merely intersect are not enough. The lines can already exist, or you can define them by specifying their start and endpoints. The starting point of the angle bisector can be the point the two lines have in common or any other point. The angle bisector is in the plane defined by these two lines or parallel to this plane.

To draw an angle bisector between 3D lines

  1. Click Angle Bisector (How).
  2. Click a line or enter its end points.
  3. Enter the second line.
  4. Enter the start point of the angle bisector; this may be the common start point of the lines or any point.
  5. Enter the length of the angle bisector in one of the following ways:
