Entering points, examples

This example shows how to create several circles with different radii.

Approach

  1. Click Circle and select Circle based on center in the input options.
  2. To draw full circles, select Enter full circle in the input options.
  3. Click to specify the center of the circle.
  4. Enter the radius in the dialog line and press ENTER.

    The full circle is drawn.

    Tip: By pressing the ESC key, you can create full circles even if Enter end angle based on delta angle, Enter end angle or Enter end angle based on arc length is selected in the input options. After having specified the radius, you can draw an arc by entering the start angle and end angle or a full circle by pressing ESC.

  5. Click the next center: enter the radius in the dialog line. Press ENTER to place the next full circle.

  6. If you want to enter the radius using the crosshairs, just click in the workspace to specify the end point of the radius. The full circle is drawn.
