Find Documents

Search in

You can define where the system is to look for documents. When you select Search in current folder, you can check the Include subfolders box to configure the system to scan all the subfolders, too.

Document type

You can specify the document type you want to search for.

Category

Select the attributes you want to search for. <not specified> means that the system looks for all the attributes of the document type currently specified.

Attribute

You can select the attribute you want to search for.

Operator

Select the logical operator. Only those operators that are appropriate to the selected attribute are displayed.

=	same as
<	less/smaller than
>	more/larger than
<=	smaller or same
>=	larger or same
<>	not same as
like	contains characters in the given sequence (also for occurrences with wildcards)

Value

Enter the condition that the attribute is to fulfill. The search is case-sensitive. In the case of the Type attribute, the Allplan drawing file, project folder, fileset folder and layout values are useful for Allplan (you can enter these values at the keyboard).

Operator type

You can specify how several conditions are to be linked.

• If you want the element you are looking for to meet all the conditions, select the AND operator.
• If you want the element you are looking for to meet just one of several conditions select the OR operator.
• If you want the element you are looking for to meet the first condition but not the other one select the NOT operator.

When there are more than two conditions, the AND operator has precedence over the OR operator.

Remove line

You can use Remove line to delete the selected line.

Add line

You can use Add line to add a line displaying the current search criteria you have defined.

Search criterion / filter condition

All the lines of the current operation are displayed.
