Creating projects

To create a new project

  1. Start ProjectPilot and click New Project on the File menu.

    Or:

    In Allplan, click New Project, Open Project on the File menu and then New Project.

  2. Enter the name of the project in the Project Name dialog box. Please see the notes on characters you can use in project names.

    When working with Workgroup Manager, you can use Project Location to specify the computer on which Allplan is to create the project.

  3. Specify whether the project resources of the office standard or project-specific resources are to be accessed. When you select Project, the office standard is copied to the project, or you can use the project resources from any other project by clicking . For more information, see using project resources.
  4. Specify whether you want to apply a structure template to the project and click Finish.
