Seed file
You can select a seed file. The hatching, patterns, fonts, levels (layers) and line types used in the model are taken from this file.
Models contained
If the DGN file contains several models, they are listed here.
Multimodel: A DGN file can contain any number of models (drawing files) and design sheets (layouts).
If the Multimodel option is not selected, the program writes each drawing file and each layout in a separate DGN file when you export data from the layout module.
If the Multimodel option is selected, the program writes each layout and the associated drawing files in a common DGN file when you export data from the layout module.
Resolution
You can set the subunit per master unit and the resolution per unit. The master unit is taken from the General Settings tab, Coordinate and length parameters area. By default, the subunit is set to millimeter and the resolution to 10,000 per meter; thus, the precision is 1/10 millimeter. This results in a maximum workspace of 900,719 km in MicroStation.
These settings apply to the master file and to all reference files. When importing data, you cannot make entries in these boxes. In this case, the current values are displayed for information purposes only.
Miscellaneous
Ignore clip boundaries of reference files: irregularities that may occur when clip boundaries are too close to elements are excluded. In particular, this applies to XRefs and reference files of MicroStation.
Adjust dimension line arrowheads: you can use this to optimize the size of arrowheads (arrows, for example).
Optimize / split hatching: hatching styles consisting of multiple colors, lines or pens are split into several hatching styles during export.
Analyze range box for text: when this check box is selected, the actual extents of text are saved when exporting. The values saved are then used to re-import this text into Allplan. This way, text lengths are transferred in an optimized manner.
Use source offset directly: when this check box is selected, the source offset is written to the .dgn file as the 'global origin'.
Definition files
RSC files: specify the path the program is to scan for resource files (fonts). All RSC files in this path are used.
DGNLIB files: specify the path the program is to scan for MicroStation libraries (*.dgnlib) and MicroStation cell libraries (*.cel). All the libraries in this path are used alphabetically. The log file lists the paths and libraries used.
