Export complex components as

Here you can specify how complex 3D elements (architectural elements) are transferred when exporting data with the ODX interface.

Merged solids

All the solids are merged to a single solid (including instances of smart symbols). This is why smart symbols are resolved in their entirety. Attributes are not transferred. Enable this option if the elements' visual appearance is of high importance to you.

Structure of separate components

Architectural elements are retained; attributes in instances of smart symbols are transferred. Enable this option if the elements' properties are of high importance to you.

Select complex (architectural) components

Here you can specify which complex 3D elements are transferred when exporting data. Selected elements are transferred, while unselected elements are excluded from the operation. By default, all the elements except Room are set to active.
When you apply a filter, only the complex smart symbols of architectural elements are detected. 2D elements are not affected by this.

Note: If you change the default settings, the system will display a message when you activate the Export tool.

Copy attributes to each foil

When you enable this option, the attributes are copied to each foil when smart symbols are exported. Otherwise, the attributes are only copied to the first foil.

Transfer end symbols of elements

When you enable this option, start and end symbols of lines, circles and polylines are transferred.
