Append to file

When this checkbox is activated, you can attach new elements to an existing file (DXF, DWG, DGN format) without changing the existing data. Do the following:

1. Import the file to which you want to attach elements.
2. Draw the elements to be attached on a new layer.
3. Export the file and enable the Append to file check box. Only the elements that have been drawn on the new layer are attached; all the other elements remain unchanged.

The new file is saved with its original name; the original file is saved as filename.sav1.extension.

Animation-based orientation of areas

When you enable this check box, the individual solids of polyhedral objects are analyzed during import and if necessary readjusted so that they are displayed correctly in animated mode. This may take some time; therefore, you should disable this option if you do not need it.

Adjust size of smart symbol

When you enable this check box, the size of smart symbols is adjusted so that the drop-in point and size are the same as for the smart symbol in the import file (even if the size of the smart symbol to which it was assigned is different).
