Assignment modes

Use default configuration

You can specify whether the default configuration files are used for the transfer.

The default configuration files are files tailored to the conversion requirements of the systems involved. They are defined by a specific name (for example, the default configuration file for converting data from Allplan to AutoCAD is called nx_ALLFT_AutoCAD.CFG).

Allow incomplete assignments

When this check box is selected, you can import/export a file without having to assign all the parameters. All unknown parameters are simply set to the default resources of the destination system. It is only necessary to make an assignment when this is absolutely necessary for displaying the conversion results.

Transfer all defaults uniformly

When you select this check box, the default settings are assigned to all the elements (for example, all colors get the color black, all lines are given the line type continuous). Select this option if you want the data to be transferred quickly.

Directly use current configuration after saving

When you select this check box and save a configuration file during the transfer operation, this file is automatically used for subsequent transfer operations. The procedure is the same as selecting a configuration file and clicking Save near the bottom of the dialog box.
