Component axis

The axis on a component (wall, upstand, downstand/upstand beam) is represented by a line and an arrowhead at the start and end point of the line.

The position of the component axis is set in the Properties of the relevant component.

Display component axes

This is where you specify whether the component axes are to be displayed in addition to the component lines.

Define the appearance of the component axis: you can select the pen thickness, line type and line color.

Component axis as construction lines

You can use this option to specify that component axes are to be treated as if they were construction lines. When this option is selected, component axes can be displayed in the Print Preview and included in printouts.

Size of delimiter

Specify the size of the delimiter.

Tip: Using the Print Layouts tool, Printer tab, you can explicitly show or hide component axes using the corresponding option in the Elements to print area.

Note: The component axis always gets the layer of the first construction layer in the wall.
