Allplan Exchange dialog box

In the Format settings dialog box (How) you can specify the data format(s) to be used to send the selected layouts to the contact in question.

Activate the Format Settings dialog box in one of the following ways

• The Layout module is open.
• Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.
  

  Activate the Allplan Exchange dialog box in one of the following ways

  • The Layout module is open.

  • Menu bar: Create Layout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

  • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
  • Palette: Tools Basic family Create area Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

Important!
When you have selected the PDF format, the program uses the current settings in the Format settings for ... dialog box. In other words, exporting data using Allplan Exchange overrides the settings for Export PDF Data!
When you have selected the Allplan layout format, on the other hand, the settings you have specified for the Print Layouts tool are retained and taken into account when you export data using Allplan Exchange.

Data format

You can specify the data formats to be used to output Allplan layouts (you can select several formats):

PDF

The selected layouts are output in Adobe PDF format. You can also select one of the exchange favorites defined in Allplan.

Layout

The selected layouts including the associated resources (e.g., line types, hatching, patterns and so on) are output in Allplan format. The data is zipped automatically (as with regular project backups).

NID

The selected layouts are output as NID files (Nemetschek Internet Document). You can specify whether you want to include the associated resources (e.g., line types, hatching, patterns and so on).

DGN

The selected layouts are output in DGN format. You can choose between versions V7 and V8. In addition, you can select one of the exchange favorites defined in Allplan.

DWG

The selected layouts are output in DWG format. Versions V12, V2000, V2004, V2007 and V2010 are presented for selection. In addition, you can select one of the exchange favorites defined in Allplan.

DXF

The selected layouts are output in DXF format. Versions V12, V2000, V2004, V2007 and V2010 are presented for selection. In addition, you can select one of the exchange favorites defined in Allplan.

BITMAP

You can selected the data format (JPG, PNG, BMP, EPS and so on) and the resolution (dpi = dots per inch) in separate list boxes. Depending on the data format selected, further settings are presented (e.g., Bits per pixel).

Toolbar

Load favorite

Retrieves the settings you have saved in a favorite file.

Save favorite

Saves the current settings in a favorite file.

Buttons

OK

Carries out the current operation or confirms all changes. The current entries and/or settings are applied and saved.

Cancel

Cancels the current operation and discards all entries and/or changes.
