Tool(s): Stretch Entities

You can use the Stretch Entities tool to stretch entities.

To stretch entities

1. Click Stretch Entities (How).
   

   Activate Stretch Entities in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Edit

   • Keyboard: Shift+Ctrl+P

   • Toolbar: Basic Tools Edit flyout
2. Select one or more points on the entity you want to stretch.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   For more information on the options available for selecting elements in Allplan, see Selecting elements, overview.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

   The system marks all the selected points with symbols.

3. Stretch the entities in one of the following ways:
   • Place the from point and to point.
   • Enter the dX and dY value in the dialog line.

Note: You can also use this tool to alter the geometry of 3D entities.
