Using the Administrate Locking Information dialog box, you can check which files (drawing files, filesets, layouts) are locked in a project and remove the locking information. Click the project for which you require information on the left.
Administrate Locking Information dialog box
File name
You can see the name of the locked file.
User name
You can see the name of the user who has opened the file.
User ID
You can see the user ID.
Windows user name
You can see the Windows user name of the user who has opened the file.
Server
You can see the server where the project resides.
Email address
You can see the email address of the user. For users who do not have an email address although they are part of the workgroup, "0000" appears.
Host
You can see the host where the project resides.
Remaining time
You can see how long the open file remains locked (in hh:mm:ss). Documents that are locked for more than 48 hours are highlighted in red.
Remove locking information (shortcut menu)
You can use Remove locking information to unlock a file.
