Computer name

Unique client name (with a server connection); default: Computer name.

License Settings

If the server is managing several workstations and products, you can define the workstation that the client is to start.

Licenses

This is where you specify which license type is used and whether and how the client is to communicate with the server.

• Hardlock (default setting)
  The client does not communicate with the license server.
• Fingerprint
  The computer has been removed temporarily from the license server; the programs are licensed via fingerprint.
• License server via RPC
  The client communicates with the license server via RPC.
• License server via mailslot
  The client communicates with the license server via mailslot.

Important: When communication has been selected, the server and the client must point to the same path.

Path for license file

You can only specify a path to the license file when the Hardlock setting is selected in the Licenses area.
