General procedure for backing up data using the File and DXF/DWG menus

Services application, File + DXF/DWG menus

To back up data from the external path to any folder

1. Select the type of backup:
   • Compressed:
     the data is compressed to a *.zip file.
     The file name indicates the type of data backed up and the Allplan version (dgm.zip or sic2014.zip, for example).
   • Uncompressed
2. Select the desired folder.
3. An information box appears once the backup process is complete.
   Click OK to confirm.
4. You can now delete the backed up data from the external path.
   Click Yes or No.
