Individual files

Create

This option is different to Data Backup, Create, Entire folders in that you can select individual files for backup using multi-select dialog boxes after you have specified a folder.

Below is a list of available options:

From any folder

Backs up files from any folder. Select the folder before you select individual files.

Office standard

This folder contains data that applies to the entire office (e.g. fonts, symbols, etc.).

Named project

Before selecting specific files, first use a dialog box to select the project.

Private settings

This is the folder that is available to the local user or to the user name if you are working with Workgroup Manager. name is the name the user enters to log on to Workgroup Manager.

The private folder of the local user is always on the local computer and its path is ...\Users\Windows_user_name\Documents\Nemetschek\Allplan\2014\Usr\Local.
The folder of an Allplan user in a workgroup environment is usually in the central file storage folder in ...\Usr\name\.

The private folder contains the two subfolders i_o and prj, which you can also back up separately.

Choose one of the following settings

• User local or name
  User-based default settings.
• Exchange
  All files intended for backup in the ...\Users\Windows_user_name\Documents\Nemetschek\Allplan\2014\Usr\Local\i_o folder. In a workgroup environment you can find this folder in the central file storage folder in ...\Usr\name\i_o.
• Project
  Refers to data from the "private project", that is, the project without a name This is the ...\Users\Windows_user_name\Documents\Nemetschek\Allplan\2014\Usr\Local\Prj folder. In a workgroup environment you can find this folder in the central file storage folder in ...\Usr\name\i_o.
