Making TAI files available

TAI files (mb* files) contain data created graphically by quantity takeoff operations in the CAD program. This function copies TAI files to the folder for communicating with TAI and converts these files to Windows format.

Note: You need to define the path in DXF/DWG - Folder for communicating with TAI.

To make TAI data available

1. Click DXF/DWG - Make TAI files available.
2. The program issues a warning that clicking OK will delete all the data in the folder for communicating with TAI.
3. Select the project with the "mb*" files you want to convert and click OK.
4. The system copies the files to the folder for communicating with TAI.
   This operation is complete when you see the following message:
   TAI files were copied to ...\Users\Windows_user_name\AppData\Local\Nemetschek\Allplan\2014\Exchange.
