Overview of options provided by the administration tools

The following table shows an overview of options and approaches provided by workgroup manager.

To do this

Do this

Check out computer

Click the relevant workstation and then Check out

Or:

On the shortcut menu of the workstation, click Check out.

Check in computer

Click the relevant workstation and then Check in

Or:

On the shortcut menu of the workstation, click Check in.

Add any computer to the workgroup

Right-click somewhere in the area on the left of the dialog box and select Add any computer to Allplan workgroup.

Remove computer

Click Remove computer on the shortcut menu of the computer.

Add local workstation to workgroup

Right-click somewhere in the area on the left of the dialog box and select Add [computer name] to Allplan workgroup.

Move project

Click the relevant project and drag it to the destination computer without releasing the mouse button.

Or:

On the shortcut menu of the project, click Cut and then click Paste on the shortcut menu of the destination computer.

Copy project

Click a project, press down the CTRL key and drag the project to the destination computer (do not release the mouse button!)

Or:

On the shortcut menu of the project, click Copy and then click Paste on the shortcut menu of the destination computer.

Rename project

Click a project and press F2 or, on the shortcut menu of the project, click Rename.

Delete project

Click the relevant project and press the DEL key or, on the shortcut menu of the project, click Delete.

Lock project

Click Lock on the shortcut menu of the project and enter a note.

Unlock project

Click Unlock on the shortcut menu of the project.

To create a project

On the shortcut menu of the computer, click New project.
