Planar Polygonal 3D Surface (using existing lines)

Tool(s): Planar Polygonal 3D Surface

To convert a closed polyline consisting of 3D lines to a planar polygonal 3D surface

1. Click Planar Polygonal 3D Surface (How).
   

   Activate Planar Polygonal 3D Surface in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools 3D Modeling

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   3D Modeling

   • Configuration: Design Basic 3D Elements flyout
2. Click Use existing 3D lines in the dialog box.
3. Select one or several polylines.

   Make sure that the lines lie in one plane and form a closed polyline.

   

   (A) Individual 3D lines can be selected
   (B) Surface can only be selected in its entirety
